Participation can mean a lot of things. That includes vocalizing your support of the assault weapons ban. You don’t have to go up to strangers on the street to start a meaningful dialogue. Start with your friends, family, colleagues, neighbors. No one wants mass shootings—you’d be surprised how open people are to learning more about how to help. And hey, if you want to talk facts with strangers on the street, go right ahead!!
